Christopher Earl "Chris" Commons[1] (born December 8, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Windsor Express of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). He was brought up in Canton, Ohio and attended Central Catholic High School. Commons went on to compete with the University of Findlay and later the University of South Carolina Aiken, from 2003 to 2009. At USC Aiken, he was named Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year on multiple occasions and earned NABC All-American honors.[2] As a pro, he won the NBL Canada championship two times with Windsor and was named an All-Star in 2013. He has previously appeared for several different teams from around the world.[3]
