Constituency NA-2 (Peshawar-II) (Urdu: این اے-٢، پشاور-٢‎) is a constituency that elects one member to the National Assembly of Pakistan. Major areas in NA-2 include Tehkal, Hayatabad, University Road, Bara Road, Peshawar Cannt, Palosaye, Regi, Pushtakhara, Achini and Sarband. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, there were 336,122 registered voters within the constituency in 2013. Former Chief Minister KPK Arbab Jehangir Khan (April 1, 1936 to October 16, 2007) and his father both represented this constituency.

The constituency is also known as the only in the country that had returned a married couple to the National Assembly in the 2008 election. Arbab Alamgir Khan was elected as the member for NA-2 while his wife Asma Alamgir was elected on a reserved seat for women.[1]

2013 General Election

The 2013 General Election was held on May 11 2013, and Engineer Hamid Ul Haq standing for PTI succeeded to the National Assembly after winning 79,125 votes. Ul Haq beat former Federal Minister for Communication Arbab Alamgir Khan of the PPPP.
