The Dogar (Urdu: ڈوگر‎) is a community found mainly in the Punjab state of Pakistan and in the Uttar Pradesh state in India. Dogars are agricultural people and are called Zamindar. The majority of Dogars in Pakistan are Muslims. Prior to the Partition of India in 1947, there were several Muslim Dogar communities in the Hoshiarpur, Firozpur, Hissar, Rohtak and Karnal districts of East Punjab and in Patiala State (Daska). These communities migrated to Pakistan en masse during the partition.
