Drnovice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈdr̩novɪtsɛ]; German: Drnowitz) is a village and municipality (obec) in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.96 square kilometres (4.62 sq mi), and has a population of 2,278 (as at 25 February 2008).
Drnovice lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Vyškov, 26 km (16 mi) east of Brno, and 203 km (126 mi) south-east of Prague.
The village is home to football club FK Drnovice, which took part in the Gambrinus liga for 10 seasons between 1993 and 2005, although as of 2012 the club is only involved in amateur competition.
