Duda Yankovich (born September 27, 1976) is a Serbian Brazilian fighter in boxing and mixed martial arts, living in Brazil since 1999, Dudley was World Boxing Champion by WIBA - Women 's International Boxing Association.[1] Her name, being Serbian, has another phonetic feature, and so had to adapt to Brazilian molds, to be easy to pronounce . In the Cyrillic alphabet, which is the language of her country, her name is written Душица Јанковић or as dusica Janković . Duda also participated in the Brazilian reality show A Fazenda.

Martial Arts

Involved with martial arts since the age of 11, Duda was the youngest black belt Shotokan karate history of Serbia, former Yugoslavia. In 1994 competed in the European Championships in Prague, getting the silver medal. That same year also won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Zakopane, Poland .

Started to practice Kickboxing becoming champion Serbia 1996-1999 and Balkan Champion in 1998 and 1999 .

Duda moved to Brazil in 1999 as a result of the Yugoslav Civil War, becoming Brazilian Champion Kickboxing 2001-2003 .

Boxing

Since 2002 she became involved with amateur boxing training for four months with the team of former world champion Acelino Freitas. In 2005 represented Brazil in the first Pan American Championship Boxing Female Amateur Argentina, getting the third. After the event, professionalized winning in São Paulo Argentine Wilhelmina Fernandez by knockout.

On 23/07/2005 made her professional boxing debut against Argentina Wilhelmina Fernandez . Won the fourth round by knockout. Then she brought three more fights, winning all by knockout, and your room fight against Brazilian Leticia Rojo, earned him the Brazilian Belt. During this time, chose to abandon competitions Kickboxing and to dedicate to reach a World Title race in Boxing.[2]

World Champion

After two more international matches losers, confirmed the contention for the World WIBA title in the category of super light. Duda won this World Title dispute by unanimous decision.[3]

After the world title won in November 2006, Dudley makes his first fight to defend the World Title on March 17, 2007 against American Belinda Laracuente, winning by points more a challenge that lasted 10 rounds. Soon after he won the Colombian Paola Rojas in São Paulo and then also won the Colombian Liliana Palmera in Campo Grande - MS. In April 2008 gave a rematch to Darys Pardo and again won the Colombian.

On July 5, 2009, Duda Yankovich fought with the US and World Champion of WIBA Holly Holm (a category above its weight) and suffered her first loss in boxing, for medical termination.[4]

On May 29, 2010, after nearly a year away from the ring due to injury suffered in the last fight held in the United States, Duda Yankovich eventually lost his World Champion title for Esther Phiri in Lusaka, Zambia, in a defeat by points decision unanimous referees.

On April 29, 2011, Duda Yankovich tried the WBC World Title he lost the fight to Anne Sophie Mathis in Paris, France, in a defeat by TKO.

Mixed Martial Arts

Duda trains at Team Nogueira, and made her MMA debut on September 8, 2012 at Bitetti Combat 12 against Jéssica Andrade. Duda lost by submission with a guillotine .

In search of their first win in MMA, Duda faced Daniela Cristina on March 9, 2013 at Bitetti Combat 14, won by submission with an Americana. Duda has fought in promotions such as Invicta.[5]

A Fazenda 4

Duda attended the fourth edition of A Fazenda , was expelled from reality after assaulting the participant Thiago Gagliasso during a test, in which participants competed in a basketball mini -championship in the pool. At one point, Dudley argued that Thiago pulled her bikini, and slapped his head. According to the rules of A Fazenda , any kind of aggression will be punished with elimination immediately.[6]

After her expulsion, Dani Bolina model entered the reality replace it.
