Gay And Lesbian Youth Northern Ireland (also known as GLYNI) was set up in 1999 as a result of increased calls to the gay helpline from those under the age of 25 with help from Comic Relief.

GLYNI is for anyone between the ages of 14-25 who identifies as non-heterosexual or is questioning their sexual identity and offers support and help to them.

GLYNI is well known as the most prominent LGBT Youth Organisation in Northern Ireland and has recently released 'What's In Your Closet?' - a guide for parents, teachers and students to coming out.

GLYNI is a member of the Cara-Friend umbrella organisation.
