Hakimi Lebovic[1] will be a stop on the Toronto Transit Commission's Eglinton Crosstown line. It will be located in the Golden Mile neighbourhood at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue and Lebovic Avenue.[2] It is one of three stations on the line which do not connect to any buses, and is scheduled to open in 2021.
In a report to the TTC Board on 23 November 2015 it was recommended that stations on Line 5 Eglinton LRT should be given unique names.[1] The TTC, at that meeting, requested that Metrolinx change the name of the station from Lebovic to Hakimi, after the road that runs north off the same intersection.[3] On January 15, 2016, the board of director in Metrolinx decided to use Hakimi Lebovic as the final name of the station.
