The Halton Region Museum is located in the Kelso Conservation Area at 5181 Kelso Rd, Milton, Ontario.[1] The museum is focused on the area's cultural history, and also includes a library and archives of local historical documents and genealogical materials.

The 5-acre (20,000 m2) site was formerly the Alexander Family Farm and includes the barn which is the main museum building,[2] an 1880s blacksmith shop and an 1830s log house. Permanent exhibits include period Main Street and business displays, including a historic general store, local history and notable figures, the history of the farm, and a display of Victorian-era carriages, cutters and sleighs. The museum also includes an art gallery and changing exhibits of local history.
