Higashi-Niigata Station (東新潟 Higashi-Niigata-eki?) is a railway station operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) located in Higashi-ku, Niigata, Japan.[1]

Line

The station is served by the Hakushin Line.

Layout

The station consists of two side platforms serving two tracks, with the station structure located on the south (up) side. The station is located next to Niigata Freight Terminal.

History

The station opened on 2 October 1978.[1]
