It was released on October 1, 1996 through No Limit Records and was produced by Beats By the Pound and Master P. Hoodlum Fo' Life was not that successful, critically or commercially, only making it to #29 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #8 on the Top Heatseekers.
