Hypsophrys is a small genus of cichlid fishes from Central America.
Species
There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Hypsophrys nematopus (Günther, 1867) (Poor man's tropheus)
- Hypsophrys nicaraguensis (Günther, 1864) (Moga)
