Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. This is a list of the States and Union territories of India ranked in order of total sex ratio for 2015, expressed as the number of women per thousand men.[1]
Rank according to 2011 census
This is a list of the States and Union territories of India ranked in order of sex ratio for the years 2001 and 2011. Here, sex ratio is expressed as the number of women per thousand men in a given population at a given time. Data are per the Census of India 2001[2] and provisional census totals for 2011[3][4] results. As of 2011, Dadra and Nagar Havelli has the highest sex ratio while Haryana has the lowest sex ratio among states and Daman & Diu has the lowest among all states and territories.
