Iota Pictoris (ι Pictoris) is a binary star in the Pictor constellation. Parallax measurements put it about 140 light years from Earth.[2]
The brighter star, Iota Pictoris A, is an F0V star with apparent magnitude about 5.61, while the dimmer star, Iota Pictoris B, is a cooler F4V star with apparent magnitude about 6.24.[1] They are separated by about 12.9",[1] about 500 AU.
