James Flannigan is a platinum selling British songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist.[1]

Career

Flannigan is best known as a member of pop band Stiff Dylans[2] (as featured in teen film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging). Since then Flannigan has since gone on to write and produce with artists including Kodaline,[3] Andrew McMahon,[4] Lena Meyer-Landrut, Lucy Spraggan,[5] Alex Vargas and Bo Bruce.[6]

He has also had his music feature in TV shows and film, including The Fault in Our Stars,[7] Kick-Ass 2,[8] Grey's Anatomy, Justin and the Knights of Valour[9] and Red Band Society.

Lucy Spraggan’s single "Lighthouse"[5] was used in the Morrisons supermarket campaign in 2014.[10] The song was co-written with Spraggan and The Ordinary Boys frontman Preston. Spraggan's album Join the Club, produced by Flannigan and Preston, reached 7 in the charts in the UK, and the single reached 26.

Flannigan also collaborated with South Korean boy band Shinhwa on their 11th studio album entitled The Classic. He co-wrote the lead single, "This Love" which peaked at 3 in the Gaon Weekly Top 200 chart.[11]
