Jeane Elisabeth Lassen (born 26 September 1980) is a Canadian weightlifter. Lassen is originally from Whitehorse, Yukon. She is one of few Yukon athletes to break into the world scene. However, she was born in Victoria, British Columbia.

Lassen won a silver medal in the women's 54–59 kg division at the 1995 Canada Winter Games in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This, of course, was before she became a national athlete.

She won the gold medal at the 2005 University World Cup.[1] At the 2005 World Weightlifting Championships she ranked fifth, with a total of 226 kg.[2]

Lassen participated in the women's -69 kg class at the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships and won the bronze medal,[3] finishing behind Oxana Slivenko and Tatiana Matveeva. She snatched 102 kg and jerked an additional 136 kg for a total of 238 kg, 25 kg behind winner Slivenko.[4]

At the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships she ranked sixth.[5] She won the gold medal at the 2008 Pan-American Championships, with a total of 237 kg.[6]

She ranked 8th in the 75 kg category at the 2008 Summer Olympics, lifting a total of 240 kg.[2]

During the 2014 Commonwealth Games which was held in Glasgow, she commentated on the Weightlifting alongside David Goldstrom.[7]
