John Seo (born (1995-02-09)February 9, 1995), is a American singer and rapper based in South Korea. He is best known as a member of the South Korean boy group NCT and its sub-group NCT 127.

Career

2013-2015: SM Rookies

In December, 2013, Johnny was introduced as part of SM Rookies.[1]

In August, 2014, a video of Johnny with Taeyong and Hansol dancing to the song "Super Moon" under the name of SR14B was released.[2]

2016-present: NCT, Lipstick Prince

Johnny collaborated with Yoon Do-hyun, Reddy, G2 and Inlayer for the song "Nightmare" which was released through SM Station on October 28, 2016.[3][4]On October 31, Johnny started hosting MY SMT show alongside Leeteuk for three episodes.[5]

In December 2016, S.M. Entertainment confirmed Johnny as the new member of NCT's sub-unit, NCT 127.[6]

On March 30, 2017 Johnny started as a new fixed panelist in the season two of the television program Lipstick Prince.[7]In the same month, he became a DJ for the new SBS radio show NCT's Night Night! along with fellow NCT member Jaehyun.[8]
