Khawzawl is a census town in Champhai district in the Indian state of Mizoram. It has a single handed post office which is considered the best in the whole North East circle due to the efficiency of its staff.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Khawzawl had a population of 9286. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Khawzawl has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 76%. In Khawzawl, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
