Kolachery

Kolachery is a Grama panchayath situated in Kannur District of Kerala state, India. It was formed by merging two villages (viz) Kolachery & Cheleri. It belongs to Edakkad block and Taliparamba assembly constituency.[1] കൊളച്ചേരി ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ പ്രധാനപെട്ട പഞ്ചായത്ത് ആണ് 2015 ലെ കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ മികച്ച പഞ്ചായതിനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന ഗവണ്മെന്റിന്റെ പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് കണ്ണൂർ ടൌണിൽ നിന്നും 13 കി.മി റും NH 17 ൽ നിന്ന് കാട്ടാമ്പള്ളി മയ്യിൽ റൂട്ടിൽ 7 കി.മി അകലെ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു കരിങ്കൽ കുഴി, കൊളച്ചേരി മുക്ക്, കമ്പിൽ, പാമ്പുരുത്തി,പാട്ടയം, ചേലേരി മുക്ക്, പള്ളിപ്പറബ് തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങൾ
