Lake Lawrence is a 330-acre (1.3 km2) lake located near Yelm in Thurston County, Washington, United States.[1] Lake Lawrence hosts yearly APBA speed boat races in the spring and in the fall. Lake Lawrence is often referred to "the fastest racing water in the world"[citation needed] because records are often set, and beaten on the lake.
