The Las Vegas PROLYMs were an American Basketball Association (ABA) expansion team located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The team began play as the Las Vegas Venom, but suspended operations in November 2006.
The team was also to be known as the Las Vegas Lights before a naming-rights deal with PROLYM Enterprises, a company which specializes in athletic aspects, and was endorsed by Paris Hilton, Diddy, Sharon Stone, José Canseco, Cuttino Mobley, Smush Parker, and Tom Arnold. [1]
The team folded for good in the 2007-08 season. Whether PROLYM did not pay the team for the sponsorship or for another reason is unknown.
