Los Fabulocos is a Tex Mex band that is led by Jesus Cuevas a vocalist and accordion player who used to be with The Blazers, an East L.A. based group.[1] It also features Kid Ramos [2] who has in the past worked with the Fabulous Thunderbirds.[3] Like, Malo, Los Lobos, El Chicano, The Blazers, Tierra, Los Fabulocos is an important part of the history of Mexican-American rock music.

Background

They hail from East Los Angeles which has Americas largest Mexican-American community.[4] Their music could be described as a mixture of Blues, R&B,Rockabilly and traditional Spanish and Mexican music. Blues, R&B and Rockabilly.[5]

Among some of the songs they have recorded are "Crazy Baby" by Gene Maltais.[6]

Some time around 2011 Kid Ramos left the band. A new member joined. He was Al Martinez. Martinez along with his brother had been in a rockabilly band in high school. He was a Blazers fan himself. [7]
