The Makhulong Stadium (sometimes referred to as Tembisa Stadium) is a multi-sports stadium in Tembisa, a suburb of Johannesburg.
In 2009, it underwent a R38 million renovation and was brought up to Premier Soccer League standards for the Jomo Cosmos.
In June 2010 it was widely reported that a stampede of football spectators before an exhibition game between Nigeria and North Korea national football teams had injured 16 people.[3]
