Mangalam is a census town in Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[citation needed]

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Mangalam had a population of 7892. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. In Mangalam, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.It became the first village having 100% financial inclusion where all households of this village got banking facilities.
