Martin Anders Kinnunen, (born 15 May 1983) is a Swedish-Finnish politician who is working for the Sweden Democrats party.[1] He is the party secretary for the party, and was previously the unionleader for the partys youth organisation, called Sweden Democrats Youth (SDU) between 2005 and 2007.[1] He took over that position from Jimmie Åkesson and was succeedeed by Erik Almqvist. Kinnunen has also worked as an office secretary for the Sweden democrats national organisation in Stockholm, he left the position in late 2009. Kinnunen and his fiancee were assaulted and beaten at an attack at Gullmarsplan subway station in Stockholm on the 6 June 2009.[2] Three women were later convicted for the attack on Kinnunen and one man was sentenced to prison for the same attack.[2]

On the 29 September 2015, Kinnunen was charged with two cases of tax fraud.[3] He was accused of embezzling large amounts of money while working for the Sweden Democrat owned companys Samtid och Framtid and Blåsippan AB.[4] He was acquitted of all charged by the district court on 5 February 2016.[5]
