Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Michel Gelbart (1899–1966) was a prolific American composer of Yiddish songs. His music reflected a very American Yiddish motif, and was integral to the curricula of the Arbeter Ring (Workmen's Circle) schools and camps.
