My Pretend Orchestra was an Experimental / Art Pop project from the UK by musician/producer Daniel Bloomfield. My Pretend Orchestra started as a project in 2007 and was formed into a band at various stages with multiple lineups. The project is known for its many use of many instruments and blending music genre's such as Indie Rock/Pop, Psychedelia and Electronica. Their music was described by the Teesside Gazette (then known as the Evening Gazette) as "a madcap ride where melody is a mere by-product of their co-ordinated follies."[1]

In 2008 My Pretend Orchestra UK festivals such as Secret Garden Party.[2] and also provided the song "Lowlife" for the trailer of the upcoming movie "eF". In summer 2009 My Pretend Orchestra performed live BBC acoustic sessions and interviews[citation needed].

My Pretend Orchestra ended in 2009.
