National Alliance of People's Movements

National Alliance of People's Movements is an alliance of progressive people’s organizations and movements in India.[1][2]

It struggle across India against injustice and several other discrimination. It led protest on various issues like anti-globalization, anti nuclear movement and electoral reforms.[3]

History

In 1990s, India getting into a new liberal policy and communal violence like Babri Masjid demolition took place to counter these issues, groups which are against globalization, communalism and other sorts discrimination came forward to form National Alliance of People's Movements in 1992. It also involved in Narmada Bachao Andolan.
