The National Youth Authority (NYA) formally National Youth Council (NYC) is a statutory body established by the Government of Ghana in 1974 by NRCD 241 to co-ordinate and facilitate youth development activities in the country.[3] State Youth Development Organisations under the auspices of NYA include:
- National Youth Employment Program - NYEP
- National Service Secretariat - NSS
- Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency - GYEEDA (replace NYEP in 2013)[4]
