Norman Foster (birth registered October→December 1907 in Keighley district[1] — death unknown) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, '30s and '40s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Keighley (twice), Halifax, Hull Kingston Rovers, and Newcastle RLFC, as a Centre, i.e. number 3 or 4.

Norman Foster won a cap for England while at Keighley in 1935 against France.[2]

Club career

Norman Foster made his début in the 1928-29 season against Featherstone Rovers at Post Office Road, and was transferred from Keighley to Halifax in 1935 for £1,600 (based on increases in average earnings, this would be approximately £264,000 in 2013).[3]
