In different sports, a sportsperson who wins eight crowns, titles, medals, belts, or other distinctions is called an octuple champion.


Boxing

Manny Pacquiao is the first and only boxer to win world titles in eight different weight divisions. Pacquiao clinched the feat when he defeated Antonio Margarito via a unanimous decision and won the WBC Light Middleweight (154 pounds (70 kg)) title on November 13, 2010 at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Six of his world championships came from the "Big Four" (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) sanctioning bodies & two were from The Ring, which hands out a symbolic version of the lineal championship. He also won a world championship belt from the IBO in the Light Welterweight division. The following are the world titles won by Pacquiao (arranged chronologically):
