Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. An outcome budget aims to measure and control the expenses of concerned ministries to introduce discipline in the expenditure. Its working is to be inspected after every three months. Outcome Budget: 2005–06 is a 723-page document tabled in the Lok Sabha by Finance Minister of India P Chidambaram. It is a compilation of desired outcomes identified by 44 ministries and 61 departments to be achieved from the allocations made in the General Budget for the fiscal year 2005-06.

The ministries which are excluded are defence, external affairs, parliamentary affairs and atomic energy.
