Paudie Butler (born 1950) is an Irish retired hurler and Gaelic footballer who was a dual player for the Tipperary senior teams.[1][2]

Butler joined the senior football team during the 1977 championship and was a regular member of the team for just three season. During that time he also lined out with the senior hurling team. He failed to claim any major honours at senior level during his brief career.[3] He ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.

At club level Butler played for the Drom-Inch club.

In retirement from playing Butler became involved in coaching. He has served as manager of the Tipperary minor hurling team as well as the Laois senior hurling team. He is a former National Director of Hurling.
