Perfect World Pictures ("PWPIC")(Chinese: 完美环球娱乐; formerly 完美影视) is an entertainment company based in China, engaging in the production, distribution and marketing of film and television content, content related advertising and merchandising business, as well as talent management business. The company produces between 600–800 hours of scripted and unscripted TV programs every year and produced numerous local language movies, in addition to being one of the marketers of foreign films in China.[1]
In February 2016, PWPIC announced a long term co-financing deal with Universal Studios , which represents the first time a Chinese company directly invest in a multi-year slate deal with a major U.S studio.[2]
