A rentier is a person or entity receiving income derived from patents, copyrights, interest, etc.
Rentier may also refer to:
- Rentier capitalism, economic practices of gaining profit by monopolizing access to property
- Rentier state, a state which derives national revenues from the rent of indigenous resources
- Rent-seeking, political activity to increase one's share of existing wealth without creating wealth
