The Roman Catholic Diocese of Wau (Latin: Vaven(sis)) is a diocese located in Wau in the Ecclesiastical province of Juba in South Sudan.
History
- May 30, 1913: Established as Apostolic Prefecture of Bahr el-Ghazal from the Apostolic Vicariate of Central Africa
- June 13, 1917: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Bahr el-Ghazal
- May 26, 1961: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Wau
- December 12, 1974: Promoted as Diocese of Wau
