Sakshaug is a village in the municipality of Inderøy in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) northwest of the municipal center of Straumen and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of Utøy. The 0.13-square-kilometre (32-acre) village has a population (2009) of 201. The population density of Sakshaug is 1,546 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,000/sq mi).[1][3]
The Sakshaug gamle Church is located on the eastern edge of the village, and the newer Sakshaug Church lies a little farther to the east, closer to Straumen.
