Schneekoenig is a Swiss Nu jazz band, with influences of Bugge Wesseltoft and St. Germain. The 13-year-old Jazz and Funk outfit is led by keyboarder Juerg Schneebeli and is notable for collaborating with well-known jazz musicians like Swiss trumpet player Peter Schaerli, who appeared on "Double Identity", and American trombone virtuoso Ray Anderson (musician) with whom they worked on their latest studio outing, "relaunch". Schneekoenig has released four albums so far: "Schneekoenig", "Stop and Go", "Double Identity, feat. Peter Schaerli" and "relaunch, feat. Ray Anderson (musician)".
