Sir John Heathcote, 2nd Baronet

Sir John Heathcote, 2nd Baronet (1689 – 6 September 1759) was a British Member of Parliament.
Heathcote was the son of Sir Gilbert Heathcote, 1st Baronet, Lord Mayor of London, and Hester, daughter of Christopher Rayner.[1] He was elected to the House of Commons for Grantham in 1715, a seat he held until 1722,[2] and later represented Bodmin from 1733 to 1741.[3]
Heathcote married Bridget White, daughter of Thomas White, in 1720. He died in September 1759 and was succeeded by his son Gilbert Heathcote.[1]
