Biography

Sivaji started his film career by doing small roles in notable films such as Kushi and Indra. Unlike his contemporaries he did not have a godfather, a producer father, an actor father. As noted earlier he won Nandi award for dubbing for the film Dil. Sivaji's first success as a solo hero came with the film Missamma. He acted in many films as a leading protagonist but failed to reach star status. After many years of struggle he once said in an interview that some of the leading actresses will not work with him.[citation needed] He also said in the interview that even after ten years of being in the Telugu industry his films were having trouble releasing on time. He himself released a few of his films, notably Taj Mahal.

Politics

Ever since the movement for keeping the state united in Andhra Pradesh, Sivaji became vocal about the political issues. Despite being a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) he started his fast unto death on granting a special status to Andhra Pradesh, which was a promise made by the erstwhile congress government at the time of bifurcation of the state.బహగదగర రరరర్
