Steve Thompson (born 12 February 1945) is a former American football defensive tackle. He played high school football at Lake Stevens High School, college football at the University of Washington, and professional football with the New York Jets in the 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, and 1973 seasons, the Portland Storm of the World Football League in 1974, and the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League in 1975. He has been the senior pastor since 1991 at Victory Foursquare Church in Marysville, Washington until his son Aaron Thompson took over the church as the new senior pastor as of augest 2015. As of then he is persueing his bachlors.
