Early life

Subhreet Kaur Ghumman, popularly known as "One Legged Dancer", is resident of village Jhundan, Amargarh, District Sangrur (Punjab). Subhreet Kaur lost her leg in a road accident on 21 Oct 2009, while she was riding her scooty. She lost her leg due to doctor's negligence. She saw Vinod Thakur dancing on a TV show and decided to start dancing with her one leg. Shubh started practicing daily. She continued her passion for dance and she proved her life's motto, "NEVER GIVE UP..... Nothing is impossible,". She believes Life is beautiful, So Live it, Enjoy it. Mother Smt. Charanjeet Kaur is her role model, she is inspiration & motivation for her. She always motivate her to look forward in life. [1]

Dance career

Shubh got selected in INDIA'S GOT TALENT TV show for her dance performance.

After her performance she got standing ovation from the Judges. Subhreet Kaur Ghumman danced so well on the sets of India's Got Talent 5 that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan can't stop raving about her. Salman Khan admire her on Twitter "Wah Yaar. Hats Off. Kamaal Hai.".[2] Now she is seen as a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Personal Life

She married Yash Makkar. But after 2 months of marriage she made sexual harassment case on husband. As per her husband she is demanding a huge amount for divorce. Now she is living with her mother Smt. Charanjeet Kaur.
