Sven Gustaf Salén (November 7, 1890 – October 29, 1969) was a Swedish sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics and in the 1952 Summer Olympics. He was born in Borås and died in Stockholm.
In 1936 he won the bronze medal as helmsman of the Swedish boat May Be in the 6 metre class.
Sixteen years later he finished fourth as helmsman of the Swedish boat May Be II in the 6 metre class event.
He was also a singer and songwriter sv:Sven Salén and a founder, with Ulf Peder Olrog, of the Swedish Song Archive. Two of his songs, "Sången till havet" (Song to the Ocean) and "Visa kring slånbom och månskära" (Song of Blackthorn and Crescent Moon) were recorded by Jussi Björling.
