Swing rueda

Swing Rueda is a round dance that shares moves with Lindy Hop. Its name is coined in an analogy with Salsa Rueda.

Moves

  • Basic Swing Out: Normal swing out, stay with partner
  • Swing Out Variations: move to next partner (inner turn, outer turn, Texas tommy, stop Texas)
  • Dame: move to next partner
  • Double Dame: move 2 partners over. Followers clap.
  • Charlestons: Stay with partner
  • Open Break: Open Break from closed to swing out
  • Coca Cola:
  • Stop Break: this preps for an amoeba. The Leaders switch feet.
