Tácio full name Tácio Caetano Cruz Queiroz (born 7 August 1980) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Fluminense de Feira.
Biography
EC Vitória
Born in Valença, Bahia, Tácio started his career at Vitória. He played at 1998 Copa do Brasil and 1998 Campeonato Baiano. In June 1998, he was signed by A.C. Venezia along with Marcone and Bilica.[3] He played once in 1998–99 Coppa Italia, a 1–1 draw with Juventus.[4]
In January 1999, he returned to Vitória, as his non-EU quota was transferred to new signing Álvaro Recoba.[5] He played 36 games in 1999 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and 2000 Copa João Havelange. He left the club in mid-2001, after played at 2001 Campeonato Baiano and 2001 Copa do Brasil.
Brazil lower levels
He was signed by Paysandu in 2004 but left the club after 2 months.[6]
In December 2005 he was signed by Fluminense de Feira.[7] After the end of 2006 Campeonato Baiano he was released. In October 2006, he re-signed a contract with club,[8] winning Copa Sergipe–Bahia. After the end of 2007 Campeonato Baiano, he joined Itabaiana.,[9] winning Copa Governo do Estado de Sergipe. In July he was signed by América (SE).[10] The team failed to qualify to the second stage of 2007 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. In August he left for Queimadense.,[11] winning 2007 Campeonato Paraibano Second Division.
In February 2008, he was re-signed by Itabaiana.,[12] finished as the 4th of 2008 Campeonato Sergipano and semi-finalists of 2008 Sergipe Cup. On 24 June 2006, he was signed by Joinville in 1½-year contract.[13] but immediately loaned to Grêmio Esportivo Juventus.[14] He finished as the runner-up at Campeonato Catarinense Divisão Especial (Second Division) with team.
In December 2008 he returned to Fluminense de Feira.,[15] finished as the semi-finalists of 2009 Campeonato Baiano. He scored 2 goals in the tournament.[16] In July he left for Juazeirense,[17] finished as the runner-up of Campeonato Baiano Second Division. In August he left for Sergipe.[18] The team finished as the losing side of third stage (the 9th) of 2009 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D.
In October 2009 he was signed by Paysandu.[6][19] The team won 2010 Campeonato Paraense and finished as the losing quarter-finalists of 2010 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C.
In November 2010, he signed a contract with Fluminense de Feira.[20]
