Talitha Bateman (born September 4, 2002) is an American child actress, best known for playing Kayla in the film The Hive and Scarlett Kincaid in the series Hart of Dixie.

Early and personal life
Bateman was born in 2002,[1] and is the elder sister of Gabriel Bateman, who is also an actor.[2]
Career
In 2014, Bateman played a significant role of Kayla in the science fiction horror film The Hive along with Gabriel Basso, Kathryn Prescott, and Jacob Zachar.[3][4] The film is directed by David Yarovesky and had a premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 19, 2014.
In 2015, Bateman played the recurring role of Scarlett Kincaid in the 4th season of The CW's comedy-drama series Hart of Dixie.[5][6]
Bateman also played one of the lead roles, Teacup, in the science fiction film The 5th Wave, along with Chloë Grace Moretz and Nick Robinson.[2][6][1] The film, directed by J Blakeson, was released on January 22, 2016 by Columbia Pictures.[7]
Bateman has played the role of Nicole in the comedy Nine Lives along with Kevin Spacey, Robbie Amell, Jennifer Garner, and Christopher Walken.[5] The film is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and is scheduled to be released on April 29, 2016 by EuropaCorp.[8]
Bateman is also playing the lead character of Heidi DeMuth in the drama film So B. It, based on the novel of same name by Sarah Weeks. Stephen Gyllenhaal is directing the film.[1]
Bateman is playing a regular role in the HBO's comedy Mamma Dallas along with Augustus Prew and Gabriel Bateman.[2]
