    Test Drive Off-Road is a racing game in 1997. It is the first entry in the Test Drive Off-Road series of video games.

    Bob Fitzgerald provides the voice as the announcer.

    Gameplay

    Game Modes

    Practice Race: It allows the player to choose any vehicle and any course to race on/in.

    Mixed League: It consists of 6 cup tournaments on which the player can choose any vehicle to race with.

    Class League: Every player has the same vehicle brand in all races. Unlockable/bonus vehicles cannot be used here.

    Selectable vehicle brands include Hummer, Jeep, Land Rover, and Chevrolet.

    Vehicles

    Unlockable/Bonus Vehicles

    If player's vehicle crashed, damage and dents would show on vehicle. If player flipped over, their vehicle would soon be "dropped" in the center of the road. All checkpoints must be driven through before finishing the race. There are always three opponents to challenge in Practice Race mode.

    GameSpot said for the PlayStation version, "Test Drive: Off Road is an acceptable entry in the suddenly crowded field of off-road racing games." GameSpot also rated the game 6.0 (fair). GameSpot said for the PC version, "Test Drive: Off Road is pure arcade action." GameSpot also rated the game 6.3 (fair).[2]
