The Saddletramps were an alternative country band from Toronto, Ontario in the 1980s and 1990s. Core members of the band included Ken Horne, Andrew Lindsay, John DeHaas and Brian Duguay. The band was originally the brain child of some Fanshawe students in the early 80's from the GTA. Their first real gig was under the pseudonym Tin Mitten with the headliner being a local band The Waiting. The Band came out on stage to the chants of "No Waiting, Mitten Now" and played what was a most memorable gig whilst being pelted with mittens covered with tin foil. This was courtesy of Brian Duguay's friends hard core fans of the band and regular guests at the hell hole house they rented in London Ontario. Harmer joined the band later after they had some success in Toronto venues. Sarah Harmer was also an early member of the band. The Saddletramps disbanded in 1995.
After break-up
In 1999, Andrew Lindsay, Brian Duguay, and John Dehaas of the The Saddletramps formed a new band called Loomer along with Michael Taylor, Iain Thomson, and Scott Loomer.
