Typhoon Xangsane (disambiguation)

The name Xangsane has been used to name two tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Laos and is a Laotian word for elephant.
- 2000's Typhoon Xangsane (T0020, 30W, Reming) - affected the Philippines and Taiwan; Singapore Airlines Flight 006 crashed during this storm
- 2006's Typhoon Xangsane (T0615, 18W, Milenyo) - lashed through the Philippines as a Category 4 typhoon.
The name was retired by the ESCAP/WMO Typhoon Committee in 2006; it was replaced by Leepi.
- 2013's Tropical Storm Leepi (T1304, 04W, Emong) - enhanced the southwest monsoon during mid-June 2013.
