Venum is a manufacturer of Mixed Martial Arts Apparel and Equipment. They currently sponsor some of the best MMA-fighters in the world, including Lyoto Machida, Carlos Condit, Jose Aldo, Miesha Tate, Mauricio Rua, Wanderlei Silva, Fabrício Werdum, Martin Kampmann, Jim Miller, and Brad Pickett.[1] Venum is an official sponsor of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Venum shorts, tshirts and rashguards are made in China and Brazil, while the equipment line (Gloves, Shinguards, Headgear...) is made in China and Thailand.[2]
Pride FC and UFC legend Wanderlei Silva has been seen representing Venum for the past year.[3] The brand has released a complete collection of t-shirts and fight shorts with the popular Brazilian fighter.[4]
For the year 2012, Venum is one of the most active brands on the Mixed Martial Arts scene, especially during UFC events, sometimes sponsoring up to 10 fighters during a single UFC event.[5]
