Viveca Paulin (born April 24, 1969) is a Swedish actress and auctioneer, born in Askim, Gothenburg Municipality, Sweden, who married American comedic actor Will Ferrell in August 2000. She attended Pomona College, graduating in 1991.[1] The couple have three sons, Magnus Paulin Ferrell, born March 7, 2004,[2] Mattias Paulin Ferrell, born December 30, 2006,[3] and Axel Paulin Ferrell, born January 23, 2010.[4] They have a cottage in Gnesta, Sweden where they occasionally spend their summers.

Paulin has appeared in several small parts in both film and television, including A Night at the Roxbury.

A visibly pregnant Paulin appeared with husband Will Ferrell on the last televised episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, hours later she gave birth to son Axel. Paulin played the character Dawn, the wife of Ferrell's rock and roll persona, as they performed "Free Bird" with Conan, Billy Gibbons, Beck, Ben Harper and Max Weinberg and The Tonight Show Band to end the final show.

Art

Paulin is an active member of the Los Angeles art community. Formerly an independent auctioneer for clients including Bonhams and Butterfield & Butterfield,[5] she is currently an auctioneer at the Los Angeles Modern Auctions.[6] Since 2011, Paulin has been on the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She and her husband are also supporters of the Hammer Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art,[7] and the MAK Center.[8]
